“Thanks, Jamie. I think this built a lot of confidence in him that he can learn complex things. He even told me he found one other kid at his school who "has a math coach". Glad we did it. “

1.
We help your child develop confidence with Math concepts above their grade level
Atomization for accelerated math
We believe that children can do more advanced material at an earlier age. We break down advanced concepts into small parts with explicit explanation – to allow children in grade 2 to discover the joy of algebra, or a child in grade 6 to embrace the advanced thinking of pre calculus.
2.
A learning experience shaped entirely around your child
Personalized learning in depth, pace & interests
No two children think the same way, so no two PrimeMath lessons are the same. Every session is fully personalized: we adapt the pace, the depth, and even the topics to the child’s curiosity and interests.
This means children can go deeper, ask unlimited questions, explore advanced ideas, and learn in a way that simply isn’t possible in a classroom of 20 students.
3.
Your child learns to solve Real World problems with Math
Real world Math Thinking
Math becomes exciting when children see how it exists in the real world.
We teach through stories, real problems, and moments from the history of mathematics — showing why ideas were discovered and how they’re used.
This approach builds curiosity, confidence, and the habit of thinking like a young mathematician — not just solving exercises.
What is ATOMIZATION?
Empowering learners
About us
Prime is a passion project for Jamie Martin, former Special Advisor to the UK Secretary for Education & 2x Education entrepreneur and Kris Boulton and Naveen Rizvi, both lifelong Math educators and internationally recognised Math experts.
When, speaking to our friends across the United States and thinking of our own future families, we looked at Math tutoring options in the education system – we found it wanting.
We believe that existing options – tutoring or schools, private or public – have three core limitations. They do not allow students to access more advanced math via “atomized” teaching methods.
They do not teach for real world problem solving – encouraging shallow operations, not deep understanding. Most of all, they focus on completing curriculum milestones, not igniting a lifelong passion for Math.
There is a better way.
Through our 1:1 personalized summer program, your child can get deeper understanding of more advanced concepts. They can use Math to think creatively and solve real world problems. They can begin a love affair with Math that will last a lifetime.
This could be the beginning of a journey that will shape their life and – maybe – change the world.

What age group is Prime Math for?
Prime Math is primarily focused on students ages 5 to 12. For older students, we will work with one of our tutors to see if we can design a different course for them - for example, last year we taught a bright 16 year old a proofs curriculum.
What will they get in Prime Math that’s different to school?
Our lessons are more personalized, more focused on inspiring curiosity and love for math, and focus on more advanced material (depending on student level). The type of lesson we offer is simply not possible in a classroom that is catering to 20+ students in one class, or even a tutoring class of 4 to 6 students.
Is your course only for summer? What dates does it start?
Our summer program runs for 6 weeks, starting (and ending) whenever you would like between May and August. We also offer a longer school year program starting whenever you wish during the school year.
How long is each Prime Math class?
They are 35 minutes for students in Grades 1-3, and 45 minutes for students in grades 4-8.
Is there homework with Prime Math?
Yes, we set a tailored amount of homework depending on the needs of the student and the desires of their parents. This can range from 20 minutes a night, to 20 minutes per week!
Are your tutors qualified? Are they experienced?
Our tutors are either long standing Math school teachers, or experienced tutors with degrees in Mathematics or a related subject, or PHD students in STEM subjects.
Can I choose my child’s tutor? Can I change them if I’m not happy?
Yes! We will recommend a tutor that we believe suits your child. However, if you would like a different tutor from the start or at any point, we will make that happen for you.
What curriculum do you teach?
We have designed our own accelerated Math curriculum. However, we will choose topics that follow the students’ ability, learning needs, and interests.
How much is your course?
Our pricing varies from $849 to $949 for the 6 week course (12 lessons), depending on the age of the student.
What do you mean by flexible schedule even when travelling?
Our lessons are online and 1:1 because we understand that families are busy over the summer! You can reschedule any Prime Math lesson up to 24 hours before - no need to stick to the same weekly schedule. If you travel to a new location or timezone, you are welcome to set up a new lesson time and even day of the week.
Book your free lesson now, give your child the gift of math this summer
During the call, we’ll take a few minutes to learn more about your child, understand how Math is going for them at school, and what you’d like to see from a Math program for them this summer.
We will then schedule your free trial lesson and match your son or daughter with the best-fit math tutor, carefully selected based on their age, school curriculum, and individual needs.
Our goal is to create a personalized learning plan from day one, making summer math support simple, flexible, and effective for your family.
